Investigation of the integrin inside-out activation mechanism
Research |
My research is focused on the investigation of integrin properties using coarse-grained and atomistic molecular dynamics simulations. Integrins are cell surface receptors which are involved in many cellular processes such as cell migration, cell adhesion differentiation, proliferation, apoptosis and signal transduction. I am currently interested in aIIbbeta3 activation mechanism. My research is funded by the Wellcome Trust.
